Get These Shoes That Increase Your Vertical
Since you are looking for the easy way out, don’t let me disappoint you, you can have shoes that increase vertical so you don’t have to do long, stupid jumping workouts which seem to take forever and never really get you the results. But you need to know what these workouts are doing and if they are really worth it, because some of them are crazy expensive.
Also, it depends on what sport you are doing. I am going to assume basketball since that’s what I do, and that’s what most of the information on my site is about. But if you happen to be high jump (which I did in high school), please go out and buy a pair of the Nike or Asics’ high jumping shoes because they are definitely worth it. Being able to get the grip from the track will blow your mind.
Now, back to basketball.
I have a much longer post about all the sorts of basketball shoes that help you jump higher, and more basketball shoes that increase vertical (part 2), if you want more. But as for actually shoes that increase vertical, you really need to get shoes that are light and responsive. That means new shoes. If they are old shoes, then you won’t have the same spring and bounce as when you bought them.
That is the first thing to check. Next, how light are your shoes? Basketball shoes are known for being heavy shoes, so the lighter the better. Make sure to keep them rigid, because you are going to be moving back and forth quite quickly, but if they are too heavy, remember you can get the same rigid shoe in a much lighter weight.
Also, if you want to workout and get shoes that increase vertical, then check out the jump soles which give your calves a good workout by elevating the front of your feet. This makes your calves work harder and give you more flexibility as well, which both are great for your jumping muscles.
